This is a free pattern from the Phillips Fiber Art website which I chose to appliqué onto a 15.5" x 15.5" background instead of finishing it with felt as instructed.

This was a quick and easy pattern that also includes placemats - I can see myself making them in the future & this runner again too!

Colour of the Month - November

This month Serge & Sew's Colour of the Month fabric is the poppy fabric & they're asking that you use it to make a 12" x 12" block to be made into a donation quilt.  I chose the Star Cluster block by Judy Martin & chose to use the main fabric in two of the stars instead of making each one different.
